While Delhi Capitals are sitting pretty well at the top of the points table with 14 points and a positive Net Run Rate. Virat Kohli’s RCB is tied on points with the Capitals but is second due to the NRR difference. Closer to them the Defending Champions Mumbai Indians are at the third spot with 12 points but with a game in hand over the top 2 teams.

KKR has still managed to be at 4th Spot but things might spice up soon with Rajasthan Royals, Sunrisers Hyderabad, Kings XI Punjab and at least mathematically Chennai Super Kings are still looking for late momentum in the tournament.

It is going to be extremely interesting the next two weeks seeing the scenario as teams will see an okay lot of each other in the coming weeks.

Qualification Scenarios for IPL 2020 Playoffs (As of October 22)-

Delhi Capitals-

Delhi Capitals 14 points from 10 matches holds them in good stead to not just make the playoffs but finish the top 2. Delhi Capitals just need one win from their remaining matches to seal the playoffs spot.DC will be looking to win at least 3 of their next 4 to seal a place in the top 2 and give themselves an extra edge in the playoffs.

Royal Challengers Bangalore-

With the big win over KKR, RCB also has 14 points from 10 matches and can just qualify with a single win. However, like DC, RCB would also want to win their remaining matches to get an extra advantage in the playoffs.

Mumbai Indians –

Mumbai Indians have 12 points from their 9 matches. All they need from hereon is a couple of wins to reach the playoffs. MI is still pretty much in the race for the top 2 positions.

Kolkata Knight Riders-

Despite their massive defeat, KKR have their destiny in their own hands now as they have to win all of their remaining 4 matches to reach the playoffs.

Kings XI Punjab –

Kings XI Punjab have 8 points from 10 matches, and now they have to win their remaining 4 matches against their close competitors for 4th Spot i.e against SRH, RR, KKR, and CSK.

Rajasthan Royals –

Rajasthan Royals have 8 points from 10 matches and Like Kings XI Punjab they can also get through if they win all their next 4 matches. They can even sneak in with 14 points, given they don’t lose to their nearest rivals badly and win a couple of games by big margins.

Sunrisers Hyderabad –
